October 3, 2012. (Romereports.com) (-ONLY VIDEO-)An Italian man decided to stage a protest in the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. The protest though wasn't against the Vatican, but rather
against Italy's prime minister Mario Monti, the European Union and the economic crisis. This all started Tuesday afternoon, when Marcello Di Finizio, reportedly walked into the Vatican as tourist and then jumped down the rail to place a sign over the dome.
It ready in part: “Help, Enough Monti, Enough Europe, Enough Multinationals.” He stayed there throughout the night and continued there Wednesday morning.
This is not the first time Di Finizio has staged a protest in the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. Back on July 30th, he staged a similar protest against laws that promote liberalization of services and public assets.
