time, Pope Francis met with the General Directors of the Pontifical
Missionary Works, which is the department that coordinates the areas
where missionary work takes place. Cardinal Fernando Filoni is
the Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples,
meaning the Vatican department that oversees all the missionary work

several gatherings at the Vatican, he concluded his visit with a
private meeting at the Congregation for Oriental Churches. There, he met with Argentinian Cardinal Leonardo Sandri and with other members of that congregation.
