(Romereports.com) There are different
ideas, to go out and promote the Year of Faith and the New
Evangelization. The Neocatechumenal Way already has a plan to carry out
both.

Initiator, Neocatechumenal Way
“The
goal is to spread the Gospel. During Lent we will directly go out to
the streets of Madrid to evangelize, maybe even in schools. We are
working on a plan with Cardenal Rouco, named 'Mision Madrid,'as part of
the evangelization process."
When it comes to evangelizing, he says the first step is to actually understand what it means to be a Christian.

“We
are excited about the Year of Faith, because we think that the biggest
challenge is actually discovering faith. The bottom line is, what does
it mean to be a Christian in today's world?"
The
Neocatechumenal Way began in Spain in 1960's. Currently it has a
presence in 103 countries, including 6,000 parishes. It also has about
1500 seminarians and runs 81 seminaries.
