(Romereports.com) To take part in the Year of Faith, one must first understand what it's all about. The initiative invites Catholics to learn more about their religion. Everything from its history, to its doctrine and its artistic heritage.
To explain the Year of Faith even further, the Church in Scotland
has launched a website to give Catholics a few tips on how to deepen
their faith. At www.yearoffaithscotland.com users can find articles on religion, Sunday readings, faith formation for adults and children and Church documents.
In
fact, the website, doesn't just focus on Scotland. It also has a list
of international events, including some taking place at the Vatican. And to widen its reach even more, there is the option of liking the Facebook and Twitter page to keep up to date, year round.
With
the launch of the Year of Faith and the New Evangelization, the focus
now turns to taking action. Specifically, what Catholics can do to
spread the message of the Gospel in their every day lives-with words and
actions. The website includes a link that explains exactly what this
initiative is all about and in particular why its needed in the first
place.
