(Romereports.com) This backpack is not for average tourists. The Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization released it for pilgrims who plan to celebrate the Year of Faith in Rome.
The kit includes a
map with seven different itineraries, a credential, pilgrim passport
that will actually be stamped in basilicas. It has a candle, a prayer
book and a bracelet to skip the long lines.
Getting a kit is quite simple. One has the option of reserving a kit online by sending an e mail to incoming@orpnet.org. If you're ready to buy it, for a total of five euros, just log onto www.annusfidei.va After the purchase is made online, pilgrims can go pick them up when they arrive in Rome.
Just take your receipt or confirmation number, to different information centers.
