American diocese launches 'app' for the New Evangelization

(Romereports.com) Using technology for the New Evanagelization just became a lot easier. A new app titled 'My Year of Faith' is promoting it directly trough cell phones.


It was developed by the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend in Indiana, so that Catholics can learn more about their religion and deepen their faith.

Its content includes daily reflections, thoughts and even blogs from well known writers from the Catholic social media circle. Anyone with an iPhone or Android can download it.

For those who don't have a smart phone, there is also the option of following the blog directly on the web at www.myyearoffaith.com

The App was designed in response to the Pope's call to use new media and technology to spread the faith in the modern world.
