January 19, 2010. The Vatican is asking for more information about the presumed miracle attributed to Pius XII.

Reportedly, the miracle has to do with a pregnant woman who had a tumor. It happened in 2005 in southern Italy near Naples.

The woman’s husband says he begain to pray to John Paul II. But then, then one night he says hehad a dream that John Paul II asked him to turn to another pope for help, and showed him a picture of Pius XII.

The husband did just that and his wife was later cured. Doctors say they can’t scientifically explain what happened. That’s why the Vatican is asking the archbishop of that region to institute a tribunal to study the case.
