More than 250,000 people have passed by coffin of beatified Pope John Paul II

YoutubeMay 2, 2011. (Romereports.com). Thousands of people have waited in line for up to five hours to pray before the remains of John Paul II.

According to Vatican officials, by 3 A.M. more than 250,000 pilgrims passed in front of the coffin of John Paul II, now located inside St. Peter's Basilica.

At 5:30 P.M. the final rosary will be prayed before the coffin. Then, St. Peter's Basilica will be closed and under complete privacy, the remains of the newly appointed blessed will be moved to the chapel of St. Sebastian.
