Patron of Animals is celebrated by the Vatican with small "zoo" in St. Peter's Square

YoutubeJanuar 17, 2012. (Romereports.com) (- ONLY VIDEO -)  San Antonio Abad is known for being the patron of animals. As a way to celebrate his feast day, several owners brought their chickens, dogs and horses just outside of St. Peter's Square. 
 
As part of the celebration, a band mounted in police horses  played several songs, including one by Frank Sinatra. Later on Cardinal Comastri blessed the animals.
