October 24, 2012. (Romereports.com) A good way to live the Year of Faith is to take a pilgrimage to the city of Rome, especially since it's here that pilgrims can profess their faith before the tomb of St. Peter.
 
But for this type of trip to be a success an itinerary is needed. And for that's there's actually a kit, so that pilgrims can take advantage of their trip to Rome during the Year of Faith.

“It Includes a map with different routes of faith in Rome that go well with a pilgrimage. It also includes a  prayer book, a bracelet that allows you to into St. Peter's so one can profess their faith. This is the last stage of the pilgrimage that gives it a type of credential, so to speak.”

This card is like pilgrim's passport. As pilgrims go along, they have to cross off a total of four sections: the first is prayer, then Mass, Confession and learning about the Saints and lastly, reciting the Creed before the tomb of St. Peter.

Pilgrims can also write down their thoughts, wishes and prayers along a scroll of faith, that asks the question: what is faith to you? That large scroll will be placed by St. Peter's Square. The testimonies will also be  available through the web,  so that those who can make it to Rome, can indirectly take part all the way from home.
