March 23, 2012. (Romereports.com) Earlier this morning the Pope
left the Vatican, Now, he's on the Papal plane on his way to Mexico.
He was taken by helicopter to Rome's Fiumicino airport, where boarded a flight that took off at 9 30 this morning for a
14 hour flight.
It was just over three months ago, on December 12th, that the Pope announced he would visit both
Mexico and Cuba for an apostolic visit. In each country, he's expected to be welcomed by hundreds of thousands of people.
In Mexico, the Pope's expected to address country's rise in violence. While in Cuba, he's expected to talk about
human rights and of course,
religious freedom.
