August 17, 2011. (Romereports.com) Benedict XVI is preparing for his trip to Madrid for World Youth Day and there is only one day left before his departure.

“Tomorrow I will be in Madrid, where I will have the joy of meeting so many young people gathered there for the XXVI World Youth Day.”

During the general audience from Castel Gandolfo, Benedict XVI asked for everyone's prayers for his trip.

“Your prayers will support and accompany me in the apostolic trip I undertake to Spain.”

This is the third World Youth Day presided over by Benedict XVI and his third trip to Spain as pope.
