December 31, 2012. (Romereports.com) Each month, the Pope offers several concrete suggestions on who Catholics can pray for. During the month of January, Benedict XVI has called on prayers dedicated to the Year of Faith. Specifically, he asked for Christians to deepen their knowledge of Christ, and to live out their faith in Him with joy.
He also called for prayers so, “that the Christian communities of the Middle East, often discriminated against, may receive from the Holy Spirit the strength of fidelity and perseverance.”
