YoutubeNovember 3, 2011. (Romereports.com) The Catholic Church dedicates the month of November to pray for those who have passed away. Recently, the pope celebrated Mass to remember ten cardinals and dozens of bishops who died during this past year.

Benedict XVI
“For all and every one we lift our prayer, animated by faith in eternal life and the mystery of the communion of saints.”

The pope explained that even though accepting death can be difficult, the resurrection of Jesus, makes sense of it all.

Benedict XVI
“The death of Christ is the source of life because in it God has poured all His love, like a  massive waterfall.”

Mass was celebrated in the Basilica of St. Peter. Among those who attended the celebration, were cardinals from the Roman Curia.
