March 5, 2012. (Romereports.com) Pope Benedict XVI sent a personal letter to Cardinal Laurent Monsengwo Pasinya to thank him for preaching to the Roman Curia during the spiritual exercises.

In the letter, the pope notes that the style of the cardinal reminded him of “the witness of faith of a Church that believes, hopes and loves, in the African continent. The African spiritual heritage spiritual heritage is a rich asset for all People of God and the world”.
