May 1, 2011. (-ONLY VIDEO-) Benedict XVI greeted the various heads of State that attended the beatification of John Paul II. Among them was the president of Mexico who spoke to the pope about the violence in his country and said they need the support of the pope now more than ever.

Other leaders included the King and Queen of Belgium, the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, the Prince and Princess of Asturias, Spain, President Komorowski of Poland, Mons. Joan-Enric Vives Sicilia of Andorra, President Paul Biya of Cameroon, and President Denis Sassou N'Guesso from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
