Pope invites young people to give witness on the Internet

May 20, 2009. As World Communications Day approaches next week, the Pope has invited young people to use the internet to give testimonies of faith and communicate the Gospel.

Employ these new technologies to make the Gospel known, so that the good News of God’s infinite love for all people, will resound in new ways across our increasingly technological world

I wish to encourage all those who access cyberspace to be careful to maintain and promote a culture of respect, dialogue and authentic friendship where the values of truth, harmony and understanding can flourish.

After the Pope spoke a group from Arezzo, Italy put on a traditional flag show for him.
