Pope leads procession through streets of Rome, to celebrate feast of Corpus Christi

YoutubeJune 8, 2012. (Romereports.com) (- ONLY VIDEO- ) On Thursday, Benedict XVI held Mass in Rome's San Giovanni in Laterano Basilica, to celebrate the feast day of Corpus Christi.




During his homily, the Pope talked about the Eucharist, describing it as a Sacrament of love. He also added that communion and contemplation are one in the same. 

Afterward, the Pope led a procession through Via Merulana. That street actually connects the basilicas of San Giovanni in Laterano and St. Mary Major.
