Pope meets with couple who lost child in car accident

YoutubeApril 26, 2012. (Romereports.com) (-ONLY VIDEO-) During an audience, Benedict XVI was presented with a relic of the venerable Elena Aiello, the first blessed woman from the Italian region of Calabria.

He then received a couple who had lost their son due to a motor accident. Their loss was mentioned in the general audience when the pope offered them his prayers and made an invitation for safe driving by everyone.


He then greeted a small girl named Miriam who was born three days after Benedict XVI was elected pope. She is suffering from spastic tetraparesis and her one wish was to meet with the pope.
