Pope names Jean-Louis Brugués to head Vatican's archive and Apostolic Library

YoutubeJune 26, 2012. (Romereports.com) The Pope has named Jean-Louis Brugués, as the new archivist of the Vatican Secret Archives and the librarian of the Vatican Apostolic Library.


Archbishop Brugués is French. He is 68 years  old and since 2007, he has served as the Secretary of the Congregation for Catholic Education.
