April 10, 2012. (Romereports.com) Pope Benedict XVI has named Monsignor Andrew Yeom Soo Jung as the archbishop of the South Korean capital of Seoul.
The appointment carries a special importance because those who are appointed to lead this archdiocese are usually marked to become a cardinal.
Soo Jung will take over as Cardinal Nicholas Cheong Jinsuk steps down
from the position. The new archbishop is 68 years old and was ordained
