September 27, 2010. Before leading the Angelus prayer with pilgrims gathered in Castel Gandolfo, Pope Benedict XVI recalled the witness of Saint Vincent De Paul, patron of Catholic charitable organizations, who died 350 years ago.

Benedict XVI also spoke of the witness of Chiara Luce Badano of the Focolare Movement, an example for young people, who was beatified in a celebration just hours earlier.
