September 7, 2011. (Romereports.com) (-ONLY VIDEO-) Pope Benedict XVI met with Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister of Austria, Michael Spindelegger. The two discussed human rights, the EU initiative for religious freedom, as well as Austrian foreign policy.

They also discussed greater involvement by Italian and Austrian communities, working for greater EU involvement on behalf of persecuted Christians and other religious groups.


The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by his wife and an entourage.
