Pope receives Yerba Mate cup from ambassador of Uruguay to Vatican

YoutubeFebruary 16, 2012. (Romereports.com) (- ONLY VIDEO -) The pope received the new ambassador from Uruguay to the Holy See, Daniel Edgardo Ramada Piendibene. The new ambassador has previously worked with various pharmaceutical companies in South America.

During his visit with the pope, Piendibene presented the pope with a traditional Uruguayan gourd used to drink Yerba Mate.
