November 12, 2012. (Romereports.com) (-ONLY VIDEO-) On Monday morning, Benedict XVI visited a group of elderly people at a nursing home run by the Community of St. Egidio.
The Pope personally greeted the group, which lives at the “Viva gli Anziani” home. He also encouraged its residents to not live old age with sadness. He called on people to re-evaluate the role older people play in society and also to increase the amount of resources for those who can no longer care for themselves.
