Pope welcomes Serbia's new ambassador

Jelic, presented his credentials to Benedict XVI at the Vatican.  Before becoming ambassador, Jelic worked at the country's Foreign Ministry Department. The 63 year old is married and has two children. In addition to Serbian, he also speaks English and Greek.
