Pope welcomes three new ambassadors from Australia, Colombia and Nigeria

YoutubeNovember 5, 2012. (Romereports.com)(-ONLY VIDEO-) Colombia, Australia and Nigeria have a new ambassador to the Holy See. All three presented their credentials before Benedict XVI.
  
John Anthony McCarthy is Australia's new ambassador. The 65 year old is married and has six children. In addition to English, he speaks French and Latin.  


Colombia's new ambassador is German Cardona Gutiérrez. The 56 year old is a civil engineer who previously worked as Colombia's Minister of Transport. 

Representing Nigeria is Francis Chukwuemeka Okeke. He is a medical doctor who previously served as the director of the Peenok Medical Centre in Nigeria.

The Pope also had a brief farewell meeting with American ambassador Miguel Diaz, who will conclude his term in the month of November.
