June 19, 2012. (Romereports.com) The Vatican has confirmed that on
June 26 Benedict XVI will travel to the region of Emilia Romagna, in northeastern Italy. He will greet those who were affected by the earthquakes on the 20th and 29th of May.
It will be a quick but intense trip for the Pope who will land on the morning of June 26 in
San Marino and will then travel to Rovereto di Novi, one of the areas most affected by the earthquake.
There, he will meet with some of the victims as well as local Church and government officials.
Benedict XVI will return to the Vatican that same morning.
