June 4, 2010. This year there was no Corpus Christi procession in Rome. Due to the rain, the pope held mass inside the Basilica of St. John Lateran and he later blessed with the Eucharist.

In the homily he focused on the relationship between the Eucharist and the priesthood of Christ. And he remembered that the Church recognizes the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Sacrament.
