October 3, 2012. (Romereports.com) Every month the Pope calls on Christians to pray for a special intention. This month of October,  his intention is the “good development and progress of the new evangelization in traditionally Christian countries.” The prayer intention reflects the Synod on the New Evangelization, which begins this month in Rome.


Benedict XVI is also calling for prayers, so that  World Mission Day is a complete success that will strengthen its mission.
