YoutubeJuly 12, 2012. (Romereports.com) Meet some of ROME REPORTS' 2.0 ambassadors: Italian Giacomo Diana. From the UK Michael O'Rourke and from Lebanon, Cedrus Mauricius. They were the first three to enlist.

It's a project that started in early 2012, where users share ROME REPORTS' stories about the Pope and the Church through their blog, profile and social networking sites.

ALBERTO CHINCHILLA
Community Manager, ROME REPORTS
“We have online ambassadors in 28 countries, who represent ROME REPORTS through their personal social networking sites. So everyday they help us, by sharing our stories about the Pope and the Catholic Church. That way, the message can reach a larger audience.”

So far, there are more than one hundred 2.0 ambassadors. Despite their different nationalities, they share the common goal of sharing stories on the Catholic Church.

ALEXIS MOLINA
Alta Gracia, Córdoba (Argentina)
“It's a commitment to bring forth the New Evangelization, by sharing all types of  news stories that deal with the Catholic Church, which I consider a great family.”

JOSÉ MARÍA SERBIN
San Luis del Palmar (Argentina)

“The most important thing here, is to see how through social networks, more people can learn about the Catholic Church and the daily work of the Pope. That way, by seeing some of ROME REPORTS' stories, they begin to leave their prejudices behind.”

NARENDRA BISHT
New York (USA)

“Because of this I have the global task with the Catholic people and Catholic Church and the Holy See.”

In fact ROME REPORTS' ambassadors already played a key role in the agency's first 2.0 event, which marked the first anniversary of John Paul II's beatification. With their help, thousands of people were reminded about the Polish Pope, by reading some of his unforgettable phrases, videos and photographs.

For ROME REPORTS it's an honor to have ambassadors in 28 countries. But the goal, is to have them in every city in the world.  You can help us accomplish by sending an e mail to Embajador2.0 @ romereports.com

At this moment, ROME REPORTS is already working on its first world meeting with 2.0 ambassadors. So, stay tuned for all the latest information.
