The gospel show is called "From Darkness to Light" and is part of the Year of Saint Paul celebrations.

Rome has many places linked to Saint Paul: where he lived, where he evangelized, where he was martyred and buried. Saint Paul's testimony is an example of how Christians should live today.

Father Cesare Atuire meditated over incarnation and Christmas according to Saint Paul's teachings. American singer, Charlie Cannon together with the Saint John's Singers choir were in charge of the music.

We wanted this concert to be gospel because through this music American Slaves found inner freedom, a notion we want to instil in the slaves of this century, this civilization, enslaved by consumerism, power and money.

The Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi organizes and promotes pilgrimages and other Christian initiatives. In January they will open a fair for young people in order to motivate in them the spirit of ancient pilgrims.
