Card. Lluís Martínez Sistach
Archbishop of Barcelona (Spain)“We must try to not only think of Gaudí as a great architect but also an exemplary Christian. And we're working hard on it. We entrust ourselves to Gaudí through his intercession so that God can create a miracle and soon you can see him at the altars as the patron of so many artists, architects, etc.”Also at the concert was Japanese sculptor
Etsuro Soto, who is responsible for the main sculptures in the temple.
The Vatican's exhibit titled: 'Gaudi and the Sagrada Familia of Barcelona. Art, Science and Spirituality,” has received over 30,000 visitors since it opened in November.
