August 27, 2010. St. Augustine died about 1580 years ago. He is one of the most important Saints in the history of Christianity. There are many ways to celebrate the Saint, but a truly original one is seen in this work by Fabrizio Cotogno of Tolentino in Italy, who has authored a cartoon about the life and work of the Saint.
The author says that the 39 pages of illustrations are filled with faith and hope. They tell the story of the conversion of Augustine and his role as bishop of Hippo.
His work focuses on Augustine as a person, and presents him as a real model for a contemporary man or woman. It focuses less on his role as a great philosopher and theologian.
It's a unique initiative to bring the life of St. Augustine to the youngest in a way they can appreciate it.
