August 20, 2010. Susan Boyle, the famous Scottish artist, will sing for the Pope during his visit to the UK. The singer, who shot to fame after participating in the television show, 'Britain's got talent', will now fulfil her dream of singing before Benedict XVI.
Boyle will participate in events leading to the Mass that the Pope will preside over in Glasgow, Scotland, on September 16th. The names of the songs chosen for celebration to be held in Bellahouston Park have not yet been made public.
Along with Boyle will be the famous pop singer Michelle McManus, winner of the British TV show 'Pop Idol'. The singer will perform the songs 'Home' and 'From a distance’.
McManus said it’s "an honor" to participate and "a very special moment."
