August 15, 2010. Beginning in December, the Vatican Museums will be displaying the expressive languages of color and design as expressed by Matisse.

The Vatican Museums will dedicate a special exhibition room to the French artist’s religious works, donated to the Vatican by Matisse’s son in 1980.

Although there are still a few months to go before its inauguration, there’s great anticipation for the new exhibit.
