October 9, 2012. (Romereports.com) Just before Christmas, the Pope's new book will hit bookstores.
The title is “Childhood of Jesus,” which is actually the third volume of his 'Jesus of Nazareth' series. The Pope decided to sign the book as Joseph Ratzinger, and not only as Benedict XVI, to show that it's not part of the Magisterium.
The Vatican showed the book cover, and has shared some of the pages in the book.
The text combines historical data about the birth and childhood of Jesus, along with the Pope's theological reflection.
The book will be officially presented at the International Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany. But the book will actually go on sale before Christmas.
