Two American bishops find a home in New York's Rockville Centre

YoutubeJune 8, 2012. (Romereports.com) The pope has announced two new auxiliary bishops in Long Island's Rockville Centre. The first is Father Nelson Perez from the archdiocese of Philadelphia. Bishop Perez was born in 1961 to Cuban parents in Miami. He was ordained a priest in 1989 in Philadelphia. Since then he has worked in Pennsylvania as a parish priest, director of the Catholic Institute for Evangelization.

The second bishop elect is Robert Brennan who currently serves as the Pastor of a parish in Long Beach, New York, precisely in the diocese of Rockville Centre. He was born in1962, in New York City, and was later ordained a priest for the Rockville Centre Diocese in 1989.
