June 11, 2012. (Romereports.com) In early 2012, the Catholic Church bought the famous Crystal Cathedral in the state of California. This weekend, the archbishop of Orange, announced that the Cathedral will have a new name.

“I want to share with you the name of our future cathedral. It will be Christ Cathedral”. The Cathedral was originally built as a protestant Church. Now, as part of the transition phase, it will be shared with its previous owners until aproximately 2015. The archbishop says the new title still respects the Cathedral's spiritual legacy.
The Cathedral has a capacity for 2,736 people. And for those who like music, it also houses the world's largest organ. The Pope recently saw pictures of the Cathedral, which he appeared to like very much.
