YoutubeMay 2, 2011.(Romereports.com). After the announcement that Osama Bin Laden was killed by U.S. forces in Pakistan, the Vatican said that even though Bin Laden represented violence and hate in the world, people should not celebrate his killing. They noted that the leader of Al Qaeda was responsible for countless deaths and exploiting religion for his own means. But when confronted with the killing of a man, a Christian never celebrates.

In light of the celebrations after Bin Laden's death, the Vatican warned of the danger it would cause of increasing hatred and called for actions of peace. Bin Laden's death comes after an almost 10 year man hunt for the mastermind of the September 11th attacks in the United States.
