For the first time a woman
directed a concert at the Vatican.
Maestro Imma Shara lead the
Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester of Frankfurt at the solemn concert for the
60th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations, an
event organized by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace. Inma

concert in all my life and perhaps with so much uncertainty. But at the same
time it was exciting. I believe that it's really indescribable having the
honour of leading a concert for his Holiness.
