Vatican opens its doors for courtesy visits with six new cardinals

November 24, 2012. (Romereports.com)  Vatican City opened its doors to welcome six new princes of the Church into the College of Cardinals.


The “courtesy visits” took place at Ducall Hall and the Sala Regia, two of the most ornate structures within the Apostolic Palace. For nearly two hours, the newly created cardinals greeted friends, colleagues and pilgrims.
