July 13, 2011. (Romereports.com) The Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, has come out in support of the newest Harry Potter film, part two of “The Deathly Hallows.”
The paper highlighted the virtues of friendship and sacrifice that Harry and his friends often demonstrate. Through their years of formation, the group matured together, often dealing with death and the loss of a loved one.
The article did note that this movie has a much darker side compared to the others, saying that “death has become a protagonist” and the “violence may not be suitable for everyone.”
This film is the end of the Harry Potter saga that has resulted in eight movies and millions of fans worldwide.
