YoutubeOctober 29, 2010. The Vatican has revealed the final details of the Pope's visit to Spain. Vatican spokesman, Federico Lombardi, has said it will be a local visit for Spain but with universal meaning. According to Lombardi, during the trip the Pope will speak in four languages: Spanish, Latin, Galician and Catalan. These last two are the languages of the respective regions of Spain where the Pope will visit.

In Santiago de Compostela he will perform the rites of all the pilgrims, by entering through the Holy Door to embrace the Apostle.

In Galicia, he will hold a brief meeting with the leader of the Opposition Party, Mariano Rajoy.

In Barcelona, Benedict XVI will consecrate the Sagrada Familia and pray the Angelus from the facade of the Nativity, the only part of the Church completed by Gaudí.

The Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero will travel to Barcelona to meet with the Pope in one of the halls of the airport. There the King of Spain will say farewell to the Pope.
