September 26, 2012. (Romereports.com) Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, addressed the United Nations during the General Assembly on the
Rule of Law. Mamberti, who serves as the Vatican's Foreign Minister, said that a majority vote doesn't always equate to a law that is just.
Mamberti stated that the Rule of Law, should be synonymous with Rule of Justice. He went on to say that the interest of powerful countries, should not trump that of weaker nations.
Mamberti then cited a speech Benedict XVI's gave in Bundestag, where he reminded people that the laws imposed by Hitler, were approved democratically and lawfully, despite their evil nature.
