earlychristians.org is a place for people to go and learn
about the first Christians. It was originally started by a group of
university students in Spain and is now celebrating it's fifth year.
The website explains the spread of Christianity from the 12 apostles to the Roman Christian Empire.
There is also a section dedicated to the persecution of Christianity over time as well as testimonies of different martyrs, and a look inside the famous catacombs of Rome.
For a more contemporary look at the Church, links to many of the pope's general audiences are provided.
For the founders of this website, their aim is to bring the lives of the first Christians to the 21st century.
