Websites that "obligate" prayer

2012-02-12 11:00:00  Printable version Printable version

YoutubeFebruary 12, 2012. (Romereports.com) New technologies have never really been at odds with prayer. It seems everyday there is a new application or web page aimed at promoting prayers.

The website called 'Marian Minute', invites visitors to take a minute to pray to the Virgin Mary. It forces visitors to take a 'time out' from their web surfing with a 60 second countdown, which will automatically restart if the mouse is moved. This site is already in seven languages.

There is also a similar website in Spanish called rezaelrosario.com. It allows you to follow the rosary through every season just like you would follow a map.

These movements are part of the forefront of a new evangelization that can be found with the click of a mouse.
