May 13, 2012. (Romereports.com) It won't be long, until thousands of people gather in Brazil to celebrate World Youth Day in Rio. The big event will take place in July 2013. During that time, three CD's with spiritual music will be heard throughout the activities.

The first CD was released in 2011. It included 80 Catholic singers who recorded songs that were heard as pilgrms carried the WYD cross throughout Brazil. That CD is titled 'On my chest, I bear a Cross'.


Just recently a second CD was released, with a title that translates to 'Youth who Sing'. This second production, which can be purchased online, has some of the hymns from previous World Youth Days as sung by Brazilian artists.

The third album will be released in the coming months and will consist of songs from the WYD Rio 2013. The official anthem will have to wait, since the organizers are still working on choosing the best song to present the next gathering of Catholic youth.
