housands of young people will welcome Benedict XVI on Brazil's famous Copacabana Beach. There on Tuesday July 23, 2013 the pope will hold the first ceremony for the meeting of Catholic youth.
It will also be on this crescent-shaped beach, where the Stations of the Cross will be held on Friday July 26th.
Another important location will be the Santa Cruz Air Base, where a candlelight vigil will be held on that Saturday evening as well as the Sunday morning Mass when Benedict XVI will announce the location of the next World Youth Day.
