"They're Italian kids, yelling.”

The Pope was outside his Vatican residence, when he heard an unexpected greeting from the dome of St. Peter's Basilica.

Usually the Pope meets with Heads of State in the Vatican's Apostolic Palace. But on Monday, he decided to meet with Argentina's president, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, at his Santa Marta residence.

She arrived a bit late and with a sprained ankle.

She came to Rome to congratulate the Pope on the first year of his pontificate. It's the third time they've met. The first was just a day before the Pope's Inauguration Mass last year,  and then in the summer during World Youth Day in Brazil.

At the meeting she introduced her delegation.
